that page is a bit outdated; i do know VBox has changed for at least devices like SVGA, so I think it's possible. that said, i don't use vbox, so i can't say for sure

Most of these apps are just dipping mustards around HOTP/TOTP, so it's a standard protocol. There's an ecosystem of standard applications around it; Twilio, Microsoft, and Google all make pretty popular ones.

I think you underestimate a lot of the APIs for a platform and how they influence an app; Cocoa provides a lot for an application; for example, it can provide a lot of the structure for a document related app in terms of i.e undo/red

Except VDI products for enterprise already exist and are much cheaper than Mighty. AWS, Citrix, VMware, and probably others play in this space.

Nowadays, that's not an issue with Windows. On all my machines, the drivers either came with Windows or Windows downloaded them from Windows Update.

Not really - they're just Clevo rebrands with the bare minimum effort. When graphics switching was new, they were quite helpless.

If you have the SWF, you can run them in the Flash Projector, the standalone Player. What'll be problematic is if they preload resources from external locations.
