   It's because you're not the target market for credit cards, you probably lose the companies money. I'm in the same boat as you except I also churn for miles/points.

   Given that the author chose to disclose it its a good bet they also know about it in terms of evading the detection tools available. Remember, two sides to every story.

   There's code that checks for the domain ending in .dell.com (etc) so it wouldn't work.
