The API is default rate-limited, so spamming page requests shouldn’t be possible; not behaving like a bot is the relatively easy part – doing so cost-effectively is harder and what I spend more time optimizing for.

Perhaps Wells Fargo should finish implementing their website first. They’re missing basic services like letting you make a wire transfer online. Our company is in the middle of switching banks because dealing with them is such a hassle.

Correct, Adblock Fast’s blocking is meant to be “good enough” (and not catch every single, last ad) but in exchange for much better browser perf than other ad blockers or no ad blocker.

All the benchmarks were run in Chrome (there are a few notes on methodology in-page). We didn’t benchmark uBlock [Origin], but I just ”ran” the filesize benchmark :-): * uBlock Origin: 1.41 MB * uBlock: 3.54 MB * Adblock Fast: 96.59 KB
