Use mermaid quite often. It's best for simple flow charts, git flows, etc, but where applicable it is great. It is especially nice combined with mkdocs and the mermaid plugin when doing documentation.

Google Maps has lane navigation. IDK what you mean about 'auto' recentering. I think it does this though. There used to be a zoom out/overview feature, but it's def not in Android Auto these days.

I disagree. Manipulate is not only loaded, but it is the wrong word. Ads attempt to persuade. They can be implemented in manipulative ways, but ads aren't inherently that IMO.

Apparently google employees had a meeting telling them Stadia would be shutting down ~45 minutes prior to it being released to the public. I get the feeling that many were blindsided with the abruptness.
