My take: the stuff is (or was) too good. I still have Tupperware from both my grandmothers. The stuff just doesn't break. My box is full. I cannot buy more. That is apparently what you get for producing good multi-generations products.

Defo not the case here for consumer loans. A German bank cannot tell you to pay back a loan earlier than agreed on in the contract.

The benefit over SMS or Authenticator apps is that it doesn't pre-fill codes (and passwords) if the URL doesn't match. But yeah, I also have mixed feelings about it. Just slightly better than SMS maybe.

A rough figure : 100gb is still fine with postresql but even then the problem is not the database (query) but rather your pipeline to get data into it. At this point you'll probalby optimize both.

Check out the table. I believe the bottom line is, that length and symbols and all those restrictions don't add any security because the relevant threats are not password probing.

Is NewRelic still investing into their APM product? I heard all original devs left. And I haven't seen any new feature in the last year's. And the last one (Error Analytics) looks clumsy and half-finished. Mobile support inexisten

Nice, spherical geometry is sth. I always wanted to get into. Q: Shouldn't the lines be curved, i.e. the shortest path on a sphere is a minor arc of a great circle so shouldn't the lines in the voronoi be that as well?
