I am a big fan of redash. It is really great in situations where non-SQL people ask if you can run a query or report for them. It is amazing how quickly you can build up instrumentation with it.

There are two kinds available currently for ceiling. The cassette, that would fit into a drop ceiling, and there is also a mini-ducted unit, installed in the ceiling with small-run ducted ports. My favorite are the ones that look like pictu

These minisplit units are typically, at least 9k to 12k BTUs, and if it a multi-zone unit it can be 24k or more. I have yet to see a portable AC in the US that is more than 12k btus and as quiet as a mini-split. Mini-splits are more popular

So, my most recent success has been using pyenv and pipenv. I install pyenv first, then install any specific point releases I need, then switch to the python version I want to use, and then use pipenv to install dependencies or run command

I don’t know how old your dad is, but I remember mine had an IBM XT and used WordPerfect, w DOS 3.3, I think. I remember WordPerfect being very popular in law offices, but also dictation machines, so who knows?

So, HN doctors here, how ‘computer literate’ are your colleagues? I have worked with doctors of varying age groups, including family, and it really just depends. Age is not a factor, it seems some people are averse, and others passionate.

Is the K in CMYK black, though? I had an HP Deskjet that you had to swap out the color CMY cartridge for the black cartridge, otherwise black was a dark green. My newest printer is CMYK and the black is crisp.

I actually have DSL and it is similar, not speed, but asymmetry. 12 Mbps down and 768kbps up, almost 20 to 1 ratio. Most ‘consumers’ download more than they upload.
