Anyone who hasn't tried the Trello iPhone app should check it out. It's free and even better than the website version.

I saw the Krispy Kreme video. That lady takes great pride in her donuts! A valuable lesson of how asking someone who does the same thing, day in and day out to try something different can sometimes be met with great appreciation.

I think there's more to it than what the other two comments described. No doubt there is human moderation on HN (beyond users flagging submissions I mean), and maybe a list of domains and keywords to keep some stories from ever hitting fron

No, that's closer to market socialism than capitalism.

I'm all for producing and exchanging goods, but with a deeper respect for nature and to the mutual benefit of all. Most decisions being made about your water supply and the limited natural resources in your area do not include your input an

A culture can stop being capitalistic and consumer-driven without becoming a fear driven dictatorship. Do you equate spending money with freedom and civil liberties? Is that the only way for you and I to be free, is to buy things?

I'm not sure staying in that public school system is a victory. She already won when she courageously stood up for what she believes in.

I'll say it this way: Americans have never been so privacy deprived and frightened of their government as they have been in the last decade. No one expects Obama to defend your civil liberties. He's invisible most of the time. A middle man

I take into consideration the finances of the person or company, but usually it's $300. That or less gets paid in full before I begin.

I wouldn't be so sure. The US government have been doing whatever the hell they want lately, civil liberties and public opinions be damned.

I did something similar with a local music zine (a long time ago in a galaxy far away) and made a bit of cash, but nowhere near as much as you. So, while I congratulate you on your resourcefulness and success, I think this advice is very pa
