Agreed. What can be worse than having a comment to the effect of "if x is -1, which is feasible, this will cause undefined behaviour resulting in a crash". For most people this stings more than enough.

It's the average. If the median wage was $1MM all goods would be way more expensive. But all this is wrong because rents rise to soak up income. If we all earned $1MM rents would be most of that if all other goods stayed the same.

No more land can be manufactured, supply is inelastic. In urban areas you are going to have to bid against everyone else and the highest bidder, who agrees to work for the most years for the land, wins. Rezoning isn't going to fix this
