also check out the book Children of Time ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_Time_(novel) ). Reading it now (not sure how I missed it originally), pretty good evolutionary world building based on this species :)

yep - it is the culture that determines this. Ive worked at full remote companies that took time to mentor juniors and it worked fine

I did (mega man), but as others point out it was a diff time. Basically we would rent the game (remember that lol) and play it solid non-stop for 2-3 days trying to beat it.

I just pulled it (and switched to dockerd as default container runtime to use 'docker') - it seems to work as a great swap for docker desktop on mac. I like that volumes work well vs podman. Nice that you an trivy scan an image,

I really like Fedora honestly - I switched off of Ubuntu a few years ago after the Unity shakedown and have not regretted it one bit. Works perfectly and has very up to date pkgs available in core repos (unlike Ubuntu).

I agree. And the book does off into crazy land about the 1/2 through to the end of the book. BUT I think the first part is actually a pretty good approachable explanation of the Federal Reserve and how our money works.
