   Some of the responses in this thread remind me of our experience finding a wedding photographer willing to provide RAW images. The prospective photographers just didn't seem to understand that we were hiring them to provide a service

   Not too late. My only advice would be to have a very clear (and realistic) vision of what you want to do with it while, at the same time, being open to opportunities that you're not presently aware of.
