A minor point, but the colour scheme on that chart infuriates me. When the data can be seen a progression (not endangered -> threatened -> few known speakers -> no known speakers), why use red to green but in a random order?

It doesn't seem to be as much a trend in the UK - fast food, takeaways etc have some leaking in of AI - but when I went to Korea I was blown away by how many restaurants had these AI style menus. It's a shame because it takes away

Having spent a lot of time in denial before investing in a few light wool turtlenecks and some Aran jumpers, I can only disagree. When wool gets warm it expands, which cools you slightly. It seems to have a much better range of temperatures

Interesting article, although with so few data points and such a specific time slice it is difficult to draw serious conclusions about the "improvement" of LLM models. It's notably lacking newer models (4.5 Opus, 4.6 Sonnet)
