I also used SSTV Encoder from F-Droid on Android. It's much more interesting if ran via an analog loop (at least an AUX cable connecting microphone and headphone jacks, or better an external microphone), it gives interesting noise effe

Hmm, I glanced through the collection of Bach's MIDIs and couldn't spot anything like that. Will listen to it completely, maybe it's in the middle of some symphony. Thanks a lot anyway, adding to the OP^[4^W too late.

Nope, though I communicated a lot with the Ukrainian hacker who started the project and the whole bananahackers community. My primary phone is from 00s, running a proprietary ENEA OSE operating system, and I have no reason to change it. Tho

Why wouldn't you just make an old school website that renders all the stuff on the server and is mobile frindly the same time? If you really strive for an "app" experience, wrap it in a WebView or look at the PWA approach.
