I wonder if it would be helpful to let this be a user-configurable option? Tuck a checkbox in settings and let the users decide?

Congrats! Some quick thoughts, then I've got a few questions for you... Let's face it, there are many platforms out there already which are ideal for publishing a programming course. There are obviously pros and cons with each. I&

VERY interesting! Reading the README first paragraph, I see you mention this doesn't make sense for apps where anon users can see data. But what about when anon users can sign up for an account, THEN have access to sensitive data?

Marketplace businesses are some of the hardest businesses to start. Filling the pipeline on the supply-side and the demand-side, simultaneously is nearly impossible, so you'll find yourself oscillating between the two. So, I'm cur

Did you look at Draft or Notion? I’d encourage you to give them a look (if only to see what your competitors look like) To the points you mentioned above (word counter, privacy, etc)… I do a similar exercise, but using Draft ( https:/&

Really cool product! I love simple, uni-tasker products like this. But, I'm just not a fan of the pricing model.

Excellent write-up! Two things jumped out for me: 1. "Upvotes don’t give you anything unless they are from the people who are really interested in what you are offering." Such a great point! Your goal isn't to game the upvote

I could make this in a single day. I can't believe you added a donate button. JUST KIDDING! :) Looks great! Good job, this was nice and simple. Seriously, this was a lot of fun, and the cha-ching sound effect is an excellent touch.

Excellent work moving the ball forward on your vision here, Justin! I'm happy to see the paywall come down and you making the 3,400-something app ideas free to really spur people to take action. I also like the idea of the momentum tra

One of Jason's best posts! This really resonates with me. So often, I seek advice without taking time to consider context. The context of why I asked _this_ person, _this_ question. The context of what experiences are shaping their ans

The new version looks great! Love the expanded tags and details about each beer. Especially appreciate the "Get there safe - get a ride link." Not sure if that's new, but just noticed it.

You mention edit. That brings up another interesting discussion.... After posting to HN, is it okay to edit the title and change the tone of the piece a bit at this point? How does that "look"? Is there precedent on HN for such ed

You know, I kind of agree with this. The word "Stole" implies something was taken, something was lost, something changed possession. Yet, the services are not identical, Nugget offers much more value for its customers, has an esta

Sure, ideas are cheap. That's definitely a truthy saying. But Nugget isn't just offering ideas. Nugget members are investing in a steady stream of software-solvable business opportunities that at least one person has expressed a d

Great work so far, Robin. Really smart way to solve this business problem. I agree that maybe the # of Trello boards per price tier can be bumped downward; at the moment you're being really generous.
