Command + Uparrow. In the Finder, look at the 'Go' menu, all those keyboard shortcuts works everywhere the file open/save window is displayed. Like Command+Shift+D for Desktop, Command+Shift+O for Documents.

Because APFS is slllloooowowwwwwww on HDDs. On a 6xHDD promise thunderbolt array, it’s brutally crippling over time. One reason is APFS is designed for SSDs and assumes each disk block has an equal latency to read it.

Thank you for the reply and the time to write it. I'm probably going to stick with Home Control but I will download and pay for yours as well, mainly to show some support and possibly to switch! I do use Home Control via my Stream Deck
