I've noticed this as well, past couple of years it has turned into more panel/ytuber focused, less about the actual projects showcased on the ground floor. Not to mention, it is pricing out many from attending.

I've been recently going this route, everything is static. If I can't host them on an S3 bucket, then I'm building it wrong. Sites are way too bloated nowadays, a lot of the content being served can be static and cached.

I use one for my Synology UPS with no issues, has saved it multiple times and is able to gracefully shutdown when switched to battery for x-minutes.
