I use python because: - is simple; - is fast to deliver something in a small amount of time (and working!); - someone already had the same problem I'm having now... and if I Google I'll find a module that serves my needs;

I use pybuilder to setup Python projects. With it, you can have unit testing, linting, packaging, costumized tasks, plugin, etc.

I use a pile of book with the mobile phone on the top of them. For photos I use CamScanner free because it crops automatically the photo, auto contrast them and save multiple pages as a pdf.

I'll try that. I use python because is easy to make a script cross-platform and because python have "batteries included". I think it would be interesting to have a tool like this that depends only on python.
