I think it's nice to have a Thing That Just Works once in a while. I never use consoles (my ps4 sits unused) because every time I turn it on, I have to mess with updates and stuff. I just want to turn something on, play it for 10 min

Has anyone seen in the documentation how they are handling pricing in the long term? I.e., if $299 is for the lifetime of 1.0 releases/upgrades, or something else?

This looks interesting. Can you go into a little detail about how well you currently cover state taxes vs. federal, quarterly payments, etc? The service I currently use doesn't really help much on the state level.

I think it has to do with the fact that the government can imprison you years, or for life. Even if you were breaking a law on accident, or unknowingly. It's a matter of power imbalance.

For an elderly woman with poor eyesight, a fixed location landline that never needs updating or maintenance is probably preferred over an easily lost phone that needs to get plugged in, updated, etc.
