Huh..? MySQL 9 is not even GA in AWS RDS yet, only in preview: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/MySQL... And latest 8.0 and 8.4 is supported at least a year from now.

Do you know if it says anything about restarting them simultaneously or not? I would think trying to restart engines one at a time would be preferred, over both of them at the same time - or maybe thats not how it works..?
