Agreed. Would be nice to know if it's trending for a good or a bad reason. Links back to HN and Reddit would help with that.

Sounds similar to what happened just recently at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh's rare books collection: http://www.post-gazette.com/news/crime-courts/2018/07/20/Two...

Can't answer about copy/paste an NeoVim, but I just switched from vim -> neovim this week, and do feel it's a bit snappier. I also switched from syntastic to ALE for syntax checking and that made a huge difference as well.

One of the Pittsburgh papers just ran an excellent, in-depth article about something very similar, happening in one particular neighborhood of the city: https://newsinteractive.post-gazette.com/riding-od-road/

I was going to mention this same presentation, but you beat me to it. He does a wonderful job with the code, as well and keeping the material interesting, and he has a good sense of humor. I'm looking forward to the videos he's wo

Although it does seem to be very slow to respond, https://voat.co/ seemed to have stepped in as a replacement at the last big upheaval. They seem to constantly have troubles staying up though.

It's funny how just from the description - "toughest, ugliest" - I knew exactly what warplane it was. As a kid thirty years ago, I probably put together five different plastic models of the A-10 Warthog.

I totally agree with chollida1. This is always the first tutorial I point people at. Is it possible to add "overflow: scroll" to the code sample blocks' CSS? I get a few characters flow down to the next line which is a bit ug

Your post looks good, but why do you link to your twitter post, which links back to a HN submission, which finally links to the post on your site? Can you not just point directly to it?

I'm curious as well. I'm able to do everything and more in Vim/MacVim that I was able to do in TextMate 1. Sure, it may not look like a "native" app, but I don't see how that should be an issue. You want to focus on the text, not the prett
