OpenRouter and I'm toying around with Hermes. Seems good so far, but haven't really gotten into anything heavy yet. Though the "freedom" of not sweating the token pause and the costs not being too high is real.

Mac shortcuts are exactly the use case for this. Menu bar, ask for a prompt, run script. I was always wary of shortcuts, but they're quite powerful and nicely integrated with the OS in the latest versions

I agree completely Uber and Lyft feel that a competitive app is more important than the overall traffic health and safety of a city. It's heartbreaking for me to watch them slowly destroy what was once a bike friendly city.
