   I thought most techies prefer anything but Macs and iOS. With Macs, you get worse specs for a significantly higher cost. Similarly for iOS phones as well.

   I agree. Especially when most of their user base is probably millennials who are < 2 years into trading. A bit scary.

   I would assume they are announcing their launch in multiple places (forums, subreddit, Facebook, Instagram, etc), not just Hacker News. A decent amount of VCs check this site so it's not terrible to be here. Also, they are apart of YC
