I've not used KDE for a very long time, are you saying that they now have shareware-style nag dialogs in KDE itself? Or is this just something on the KDE website, like Wikipedia does?

Depending on the task, the tool can, in effect, demonstrate more intelligence than most people. We've just become accustomed to it now, and tend to focus more on the flaws than the progress.
