As someone who's been in a position like this before, I suspect the author is angry at the manufacturers and feels they're not being honest by not providing proper specs. It's hard to spec out a project when no one will tell

I agree. If you hire someone, and they aggrieve someone in the course of their duties, your contractor is your agent and you're responsible for what they did. It makes no sense to treat AI any differently.

That specific problem sounds like you just have bad software in your car. My car takes a second for the infotainment system to boot, but it doesn't start blaring anything until it's ready to process input.

If the linker puts a pointer there, this would let you leak part of the pointer which could let you bypass kaslr. Not too likely for that to occur. If I were submitting this bug I would feel complete if they bought me a sandwich.
