I had some very insignificant ad revenue on my hot rod blog, but it was to the tune of two or three dollars each month... :) I do enjoy writing but I am more looking for something with recurring revenue, that I can improve and iterate on. T

It might be, but he has a point, you don't have to build a service or product to make money. On the other hand, in his case, his product is his content. Interesting thought.

Yeah... I'm building a site for a BBQ Sauce company, and when I went looking for a wordpress/bootstrap3 theme to start with... nada. So, enjoy the chicken and ribs photos for now... I'll try to put up a demo site shortly. :)

Congrats Play team! You really have a winning framework on your hands! Coming from a Java background, it was easy to learn; I was able to launch a dynamic MVP in three days on heroku (shameful plug): carsparkapp.com It keeps getting better

I've switched from app engine to heroku. Even if you can get past the vendor lock in, carefully review the limitations: file-size, collection size, etc. They may have good reasons for these, but I spent more time working/thinking around the
