I'm worried that by supporting too many encodings and color spaces this will hamper adoption and unexpected unsupported files. Perhaps this is more of an encoder/decoder library issue, which hopefully will give us rec2020 rgb32&#x

We used Lua in the past, but mostly because doing quick iterations in c++ in that project was unrealistic due to 10+ minute build times.

Ha, yup, I enjoyed adding that to the game :) It was inspired by the system dwarf fortress used at the time extended with pressure to allow equalizing vessels.

Yup, it's been improving again lately, had to take close to a year off due to burnout, also vitamins, sport, sleep, and more time with irl friends/coworkers. Now back to a point that feels like 80% of preburnout.
