Good information, but you can already turn this off via the (quite hidden, I admit) setting that is mentioned in the article. That's a better way to turn this off completely, rather than patch it via a visual rule.

It's not that tedious. In adguard home you have a switch on/off in the web UI. You can also expose that switch to homeassistant. And there are some other good ideas in this thread as well for android and ios.

You probably have battery issues because you are using SmartThings as the zigbee hub and it's polling the remote way too much. I have switched to HomeAssistant with a Zigbee USB adaptor and there are no more battery issues. SmartThings

"dang near perfect" is correct! The only issue is the font, really. I use the stylus extension to change it to: * { font-family: Open sans; } And _now_ it's perfect. For desktop at least.
