I think the name is probably hurting adoption. The creature it refers to pretty universally considered repulsive. I'm no psychologist or anything, but I would expect that to have an undue influence on even the most rational person.

I don't know; do you want to build services that depend on random hardware on residential internet connections, hoping they stay online, while exposing metadata to the entire WAN or slowing it down with some kind of mixnet protocol? To

Stop implementing them, and move to key & pin. Use backup keys instead of resets. Stop depending on email and SMS.

[Meta] god damn it why is scrolljacking still a thing? ( And if they fail at this, why would I trust them with anything else? ) Shame!

You'll likely still want to bundle for production, though, for the optimizations like minification, dead code elimination, module splitting, etc. But yeah, JS is Crazy Town. It can be very frustrating. ( Be wary of dependencies. )

The web is Google's platform now, and they're locking it down. It's time for a new web, and a new user agent with a minimal core so it isn't impossible to implement.

What I don't like about P2P is that it depends on peers being online at the same time, and it exposes metadata to the whole network instead of only law enforcement and sophisticated / well-funded attackers.

I really admire http://tachyons.io , with its principles of shallow cascade and low specificity . ( It really sucks to have to jump in and work with some project's massive blob of vestigial, conflicting styles. )

I loved mine (the original 12"), keyboard and all. Kept it with me all the time in a little sling bag... like a gun in holster. BANG! BANG! Rocked it til it broke, and I'm still missing it 3 years later. I guess I need a new one.

Try Choo (4kb ninja sword). I think the design really nails it: just enough architecture, tagged template literal rendering, functional DOM tree composition with an optional component system. I prefer to avoid stateful components in favor

I don't think "popo" is really a problem, but the name just doesn't sound good to me. It feels awkward to a native English speaker. If it were my project, I would first look to the generic TLDs, and choose one that pairs

Isn't it true that the prefrontal cortex doesn't fully develop until around age 25? If so, when will our laws reflect the fact that before that age, a person is not fully capable of considering the consequences of their choices? L
