I use it for a very large monorepo to replace prettier. So much faster! Also have it run on save in my editor now. Now linting full codebase on precommit and it’s faster than just linting staged files with prettier!

"Well, gee, that's a lot. I'd be really impressed if our team could get to `$GOAL x 0.75` in $TIME. `GOAL x 0.25` is a big ask, we'll have to see..." Lots of under promising. Aggressively, even when you get tired of

Yep. I'm already sour against the IRS from just doing some tax calculations, saw the article title, and didn't even read the article before commenting! Edited my comment.

Cool, he got paid and all, but keep in mind that's $22M of yours and my tax money. EDIT: Nevermind, I did not read the article before commenting. My mistake.

The reason most people tell me they use todos is, "you can't do everything up front." I agree, but I hate TODOs. They're the worst form of keeping track of technical debt. Just open a ticket! I like to have a tag/la

+1 -- I use Stout all the time. I don't have to rely on anyone's uptime except AWS's. Stout's just a "shortcut" for using AWS infrastructure that I have full control of. With Surge, I'd have to trust some

So Kickstarter money is counted as donations, right? Does that mean that they don't have to pay sales tax on any of these preorders?

Why don't more people do, "We're not 100% sure if you're the right fit, but we'd like to find out. We'll pay you to work with us for [2/4] weeks."

Counter-argument: A good micro-module removes complexity. It has one simple purpose, is tested, and you can read the code yourself in less than 30 seconds to know what's happening. Take left-pad, for example. Super simple function, 1 m

I didn't check the web-at-large, that's why. I just thought 'classy! It's classes.' Then I checked npm. Then I pushed it. Probably was a bad idea.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic here. But again, there was no passive aggressiveness in my previous comment. I meant what I said, and nothing more: He's assuming things about someone he doesn't know. That's s

Unfortunately, this is going to happen. Best wishes with your project. Edit: I'm only trying to be straightforward. I meant only what I said: name collisions do happen, especially in the cluttered npm namespace, and will continue to ha
