Yeah, I just run bare Debian myself. It's really not hard to setup LVM and Samba. And all of the major frontier models are well-versed in those things, so I used their help to get all of the various bits setup to make access from MacOS

Does Axon offer the same sort of national, single-database that Flock does? I'm far more inclined to trust my local department to manage their own database vs. a single database that everyone contributes to and reads from.

Yes; I've genuinely lost track of how many countries I've been to - and I'm not referring to layovers. It is possible for one to forget about the cultural nuances of a country literally on the other side of the planet, though

No, we need to transfer a lot of power instead. So those with 800v cars need to be mindful to visit certain charger stations/types over other ones in order to get a fast charge, vs relying on the car to boost it from an older station.

I concur about the picture quality of their OLEDs - it's incredible. But I can't say anything about their interface or software - I've not seen them for probably a year+ at this point. The Apple TV remote turns it off/on

Not necessarily; "read file" is very different from "execute command." The biometrics part is a substantial lift as well.
