Can someone validate this source? A Canadian here trying to raise money has been much harder than the USA. I haven't seen deals or valuations anywhere what the graphs imply. Plus it says per project US but lists the amount in Euros..

Check this out http://37signals.com/bootstrapped . There are people running companies without outside funding and are probably pretty happy doing so. Applying to YC is time consuming: making videos, writing bios etc.

Oh I wasn't knocking the need for non-developers. But the emphasis on "MBA" as requirement for these positions as from the posts above. I just thought an MBA wouldn't mean much at a place like google.
