A lot (all?) has been cleared out in Monterey. I can’t find smtpd or xattr’s scripts that required the previous version. I think whatever remained before 12.3 were Automator’s py scripts. But I don’t know what scripts those were.

My guess would be (given the size of that array) that this is done to prevent rate limits rather than cost. It could be that this was advised by Google themselves because they could not provision the correct rate limits due to end of year.
