Exactly. I think NBA League Pass cuts out the advertising from the local tv networks during timeouts and half time to show the in arena feed (kiss cam, etc). But those are often times ads now as well.

I did exactly this 2 years ago and it was just as painless as you described. Took a few months of slowly migrating various accounts to new email via forwarding. I’m just annoyed at myself for not having done it sooner.

I use Apple Pay regularly (multiple times per month) at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Starbucks and Coffee Bean. On more rare occasions when I do end up shopping for cloths in person, I've used it at department stores.
