worthless postings should be pointed out, i believe, so that we can have quality links on the front page. this sugar coating which seems to be so popular with the hacker news community these days is not helping anyone.

well maybe, but then one should make a distinction between web application, and just plain websites. designing one may be 95% typography, but the other is about much, much more.

yes sir, you are. you attract like minded people. god damn, i WILL migrate my platform away from ruby, that's how hard finding ruby developers who arent populist or contrarian is

Totally devoid of information. I would be more interested in reading actual technical reports of higly scaled infrastructures. These flimsy half-truths gleaned from such scaling, I can do without.
