I'm not sure that Nintendo cares too much about AAA shooter games. I pretty much only play Nintendo titles or small indie games and I have never experienced any framerate issues.

Lots of people still need to learn that the primary objective is for the colony to be successful and even if you personally get a high score you lose the game if the colony fails. Also, Wumpus hunting is underrated.
