You might want to check Inko[0] out. It is still in alpha stage of development so you can probably contribute to it as well. Inko is a gradually typed, OOP language which uses erlang like isolated processes that don't share memory for

I always thought Erlang got its name from a measurement unit in telephony called Erlang[0]. Never looked into why this unit was called Erlang though. [0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erlang_(unit)
