I’m surprised the game companies themselves aren’t interested in these projects. Seems like easy money to just decompile a retro game, add some quality of life improvements and stick it on steam. Are their hands tied by legal or what other

I always assumed these wallets were never meant to be withdrawn. In the case of satoshi’s - it’s public proof that the Bitcoin network is still secure.

Agree. I’m finding quite a lot of success with AI but i’m writing detailed prompts. In turn the LLM’s are producing 99% error free massive refactors. No one but seniors with years and years of experience is producing like that. As evidenced

You’re right. Let’s wait for it to pump 20% before we buy. Lol what?

That isn’t something you can categorically say for sure though. If it hits 125k next month then Bitcoin does go up over the long term. Same if it hits 125k next year.

This can’t be a serious comment. If ww3 starts the respective countries central banks will keep the gold for themselves. You are so naieve if you think any government is going to honour the fact that you have a piece of paper that saya you

I do not buy into the idea that “everyone did it then it must have been a good idea”. We’ve already seen the negative side of fiat currencies in how they eventually collapse (Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Argentina) and even in more developed count

This argument falls apart when you consider technology though. And even daily essentials. No one would not buy food and water because they can get more in future. They need it now. The same goes for technology. We all know next year’s iPhon

Has it ever been worthless (post pizza guy). There’s always been someone who will give you some fiat for them.

And this has proven successful in many countries such as Zimbabwe, Venezuela, and Argentina

I see it as the ultimate honeypot. If those coins haven’t moved yet the network is secure.

Are you talking from experience with DoorDash or Deliveroo? This has not been my experience with Deliveroo in London, UK. There’s just no way I could get the same food quicker, everyone is on motor/pedal bikes so delivery is usually ab

Do you not just write code that’s backwards compatible?e.g an api deployment should not break the front end. The api changes should work on the old front end and the updated front end that uses the api change.

It’s easy to put those two pieces of information together and arrive at crypto bad. I think it’s worth noting that bitcoin uses a fraction of the energy required to mine gold for example. It’s also a driving force in renewables, by stabilis

Will we see as much outrage about this as Bitcoin has received about its supposed energy use?

The app itself looks very basic and cheap. Can copilot really not do this? I have no idea because I don't use Tailwind but copilot knows the depths of some obscure npm libraries so I would assume so.

If the value of the reserve money is $2b one year and it deflates to $3b the next, does that mean you can print more fiat every year? Sounds like an attractive proposition to me

This article speaks to me a lot. I played FF7 Remake when it released on PS+ in ‘21 thinking I didn’t enjoy JRPG’s. From there i played the entire collection - the ps1 version, crisis core, advent children, and then remake again. Those mont

Take the following scenarios: 1) solar storm destroys your country. It would wipe the traditional finance sector. Servers. Backups. Records. All destroyed. How do we restore everyone’s wealth to what is was? 2) solar storm destroys your co

Pretty poor article that has the usual Bitcoin bingo points - criminals and terrorism (because that didn’t exist before 2009?) and volatility. It misses more interesting aspects or theories about bitcoin - it’s scarcity or how it supposedly

I'm curious as to why BCH is not a ponzi vs BTC given the former is a fork of the latter - so they pretty much work the same way apart from a larger block size.
