Spaniard here. Yeah, not surprising — there’s a bit of a cultural fondness for sabotage, or at least for deliberately messing with things that are "official" but somehow unimportant.

I see news and forums claiming the problem is screens/smartphones and social media. Given the big gap between the east and the west... does anybody know if these are somehow less used/abused in asian countries? Any other reason wh

I really feel the pain here, I have myself tried things ol these lines... I will give Huzzah it a try. My concern, however, is that all of these options might ultimately be slower than just prompting. I mean, at this point, another option w

This is already happening. Clients come and show me their proof of concept, fully vibecoded, because they do not know / do not have the time to take it to prod. Other comments saying this will be automated in the future... may be. But

There are many variables and scenarios, yes. This, however, is not an excuse not to provide some more data points that help people estimate what they are really getting... Anyway Tesla has data from all their cars, they could use that.

Any information on how to make webs and web apps easier to navigate for these agents? I got it using some apps and it did amazing job. However I realized it complains about certain (very ovious) buttons being not easy to see

It seems after making it several times to the front page in HN the author has decided to give this (apart from the ads) really interesting blog a new try... I hope they find a less intrusive way to monetize it.

Sabine papers, those in "her area of expertise" were pretty bad, at least those I read. We reviewed several of them out of curiosity in several journal clubs. She is pure show.

Hey, I do not quite understand your statement. How should this happen? Ex Devs? Hacking my git account? Or do you mean something else?

What does "appropriate code base mean"? If I did it, then I would of course cleanse a bit here and there, make the corpse prettier as somebody wrote in another comment. More thant that, however, is an amount of work which is just

Thanks for the advice. One fear I have is about security. Is the code is exposed, it will be way easier to exploit potential security flaws... I will not be able to just do nothing if this is the case .. Ill end up wanting it.

Even if you did give a shit about those things, all that can be achieved with jQuery. IMO the real downside of jQuery is not being as opinionated as other mentioned "technologies", which leaves too much room for thinking

I like to think of different engineer tiers as pricing tiers in SaaS: "everything in the previous tier + higher limits + new stuff you can only get in this tier".

This is awesome, interesting and well explained. Thank you! I would love to hear more about it. I wonder which concrete real life uses this might have (had).

As a theoretical physicist I would not say Sabine is very trustworthy. During some journal clubs we analyzed some papers of hers and they were really low quality. This does not invalidate everything she says though...

My feeling is that LTD are ok at early stages, when you are still figuring out your audience and trying to get some momentum. I guess you could push it as long as the price is bigger than your average LTV? I have the impression that there i
