Throwing away old code and rewriting it in a sexy, new language also takes time away from projects that are actually meaningfully innovative: ie projects that help customers do more, or be more efficient

The problem is I don't trust all those SaaS reviews in sites like G2, TrustRadius, Gartner etc. A lot of them are paid, and incentivized. Heck, I personally wrote a few nonsense ones just to get free gift cards. But I know some people
