Nearly all numbers are supported. The only numbers we can’t text enable are Bandwidth.com numbers, but that should be resolved in the coming months.

Good question! No, using Pigeon SMS does not require porting the number. We’ve partnered with upstream carriers to add sms while leaving the voice component intact.

BEAM is amazing. The scaling is insane. I built a business texting platform using it ( https://pigeonsms.com ). As we brought on our first few customers I kept expecting we would need to increase our hosting capacity. Here we are

Very nice! I posted on the other thread about pigeonsms.com. It’s built 100% in Elixir with Phoenix framework. If you’re ever looking for a collab or another content creator for elixir courses it’s something I’ve been thinking of getting in
