You assume OpenAI doesn’t turn off access to OpenRouter too. Strategically, OpenAI long-term will want to own the direct relationship with all their customers. As will most major AI labs.

It looks like speculation that Apple would raise the base chip’s maximum RAM from 32GB to 48GB was wrong. Apple also launched the base M6 today with a 32GB RAM limit, suggesting 512GB may remain the maximum for Ultra chips for some time.

Isn’t this an apples/oranges comparison. Nix/NixOS is fundamentally about a declarative system configuration. And as far as I understand, StageX doesn’t have that.
