Exact numbers don't matter, because there's a tradeoff. When polling, longer refresh period means longer minimum delay as well. Firefox is a bad example, I agree. But anyway RSS declines. RSS client service solves the polling issu

People say they still love RSS because they control their reader and feeds collection. It's much easier to control when you have all sources in one place. Comparing to allowed notifications/email subscriptions when you don't
