just fork it and add your "quick access" at the top of the page? i've been using a custom new-tab-page extension for a long time, it even comes with an integrated alarm-clock!

if it's for internal use, you most likely have access to the DNS-server the clients are using, not an unlikely scenario when it comes to licensed code like this i would imagine.

i would assume they are not contributing but if i wanted to find out if they did, i'd ask them. should be fairly easy to validate if you know what they're contributing to. while i agree with your point about this being sub-optimal

the only widely used license that i know of that would get violated by this kind of use (i think) is the AGPL.

it's a nice feature to have but adding a repo via the web interface didn't take more than a few seconds at most. not quite sure what config & setup you are referring to other than the name of the repo, not a whole lot of other

UP in bash swaps the commandline to your previous command, it does not search in your history. either way, please don't move your fingers all the way to your arrow keys for this.

start using keyboards that allow you to use left ctrl with your palm instead of your pinky, it's a life saver.

you don't actually have to manage type definitions for your own code (unless you're referring to typing parameter/return values), just things that you eg. fetch from the backend. those can be trivially generated by a tool fro

i use yarn-offline-mirror and save all tarballs in the repository, works fairly well.

converting an aurelia project from jspm/esnext to use webpack/typescript with a bunch of plugins/deps like ui-virtualization, d3, bootstrap-datepicker etc. is however not that easy.

i'm surprised people manually insert tabs/spaces. vim automatically indents for me and even if it didn't, formatting the code is one keybind away...

I love arch and would be using it if my hardware worked better out of the box. Having to tinker with blacklisted drivers and manual pulseaudio configuration is only fun the first couple of times. Nowadays I just install xubuntu and add bspw

I've tried a lot of these and I really want to like them (plex/kodi) but the gui is way too hard to use, I feel like I'm in a straitjacket and always revert to the command line. Mount your content, be able to sort it through

i'm running debian in vmware workstation player on windows 7 at work as i'm unable to run it as the os on the laptop* (thinkpad t440s). it's not great but it's a whole lot better than not doing it. the performance penalt
