Sterilized, not sterile. Some bacteria and fungi thrive in seed collections if they get moist. Sterilization ensures you aren't then planting these seeds and allowing the bacteria/fungi to grow over and throughout the crop.

What's all this sudden love for the cluster-fsck that is Cuil? It and anything it touches is just horrific, Cpedia included. Sorry to say it, but it's true. It will be a huge waste of money and engineer manhours that would likely be better

I really don't care about Ustream anymore. Not since, like so many places, they went 'super kid friendly'. I used to love the service as I could watch artist friends create works in real time and watching an artist draw/paint is just.. wond

I actually hate the one on the right. I don't want my favicons to be necessarily readable, or a blur of colors like that.. they're ICONS. Visual REPRESENTATIONS. Infact, most of the 'better' versions on that page sucked a lot more to my eye

Loading data from the db can be cheaper than actually RENDERING said data, so if you can push that clientside, you can save cycles.
