What she says isn't necessary untrue, now is it? She just skips a lot of steps most people have no clue about. I had files in a cabinet, now they are digital. And most often also on a cloud drive, which is metaphysical in some sense. F

No HDMI is really sad. This means there are probably closed source drivers. Linux is not mentioned as supported, so I suspect crapware.

While 80 characters is obviously quite short, my experience is that longer line lengths result in much less readable code. You have to try to be concise on shorter lines, with better phrasing.

This is my setup. I find this to be a reasonable balance for comfortable life. Except my printer, that gets no Internet so it cannot update to some crappy firmware that nags about supplies.

I wonder if underground water tables can play a role in accelerating this last bit. There are buildings on the last couple hundred meters. I also wonder if current-day maintenance and concrete-work helps. Indeed, fascinating.

I do not get the feeling that using WhatsApp was the source of the disciplinary measures here, but rather the racist contents they shared there. So to be fair to GP, this could be much more prevalent.

They did not follow modern Christian values. Sex was looked on differently, as was parenthood, and adoption. Also, contraception did exist in those times.

I block my printers from doing any Internet requests for this reason. They're only allowed established and related traffic on the LAN.

You point to some very dense documentation sites. I am glad I didn't have to wade through those when I was a kid. This is the sort of site you can navigate when you know you have something to look up, most often not when you start out.
