I don't have it on a kill-a-watt even though I should. As the person below you said, it's like 1.5 to 2x power consumption vs a pi4 at idle (Under 10w), but that is still comically small amounts, about the same as a Google Nest H

This. Activation Lock is an Anti-Theft, not a privacy mesure. By making stolen hardware a brick, it reduces the upside to a thief to pennies on the dollar. This makes the legal risk not worth it. Thus: massive drops in theft. https:/

Gaming but I would note that the 5600X is a fine workstation CPU, the 6650XT is a good editing GPU, and with 32 or GB of ram, this can pretty much do anything at an acceptable level.

If you went for the 12100f, a B660m, 3200 Ram, and a 500GB nvme, (Fractal Pop Air, etc) you can do this build, brand new, for ~750. 5600X is a little better for multicore but I prefer the 12th gen upgrade path. With used parts and dropping

Fair point but, this is the definition of fuzzing the margins here. The Google TV retail price is $50, the Apple TV is $129 now. I get that that is a big jump but it's not 12 times the price. The performance per dollar tends to go down
