   This may also have an engineering explanation - much easier to move fast and break things if your main code base is open source and accessible to LLMs and coworkers.

   One of my biggest gripes with csv/tsv is that they don't have formulas, for good reason (most of the time) - this format however is REALLY nice imo. hard (but probably possible) to shoot yourself in the foot, and yet it's not
