   vhs is pretty cool. I’ve used it before and liked the idea of an intermediate tape file. I was looking for a tool that allows execution of commands on shell as well!

   Like previously said, ROS is not an OS, its a framework for making hardware easily programmable with simple APIs, which happens to be very useful to get started with robots. Sure there is a learning curve like many other frameworks!
