can't you just slow the simulation down? processing one second would take (for example) one year, but the creatures inside the simulation wouldn't know that, would they?

can wireguard work over tcp? many captive portals i encounter daily block most ports and almost always allow only tcp. so i set up openvpn on port 443 over tcp, which got through everything so far.

i agree. free market capitalism should replace current corporatism. but that's currently impossible - there will always be lobbying and special treatments while the goverment is able to interfere with the market.
