My browser ate 16GB of ram while I've been reading this. The system crashed but the tabs were here there after a reboot. I'm not even mad anymore.

You don't have to log in anywhere. MS sells Office 365 and Office 2019, 365 being a subscription service and 2019 a one-time purchase. People you talk about probably had issues with desktop apps that were a part of O365.

Pressing alt+d selects the address in the address bar but does not expand it, the expanded one is copied when you press ctrl+c. Hilarious.
