I would categorize user testing under 'Design Skills' (UX Design), as well as CSS and HTML (Web Design). Design might be a third type of role, that is neither technical, nor business.

as i remember, iPhone sdk was released after Android. it seemed to be that iPhone sdk was not intended for developers, but Android forced them to, because it seemed like an obviously good idea.

I tried to submit the url first, but it was considered spam - I guess using an unbounce page for a non-existing service is kind of spammy, but this seems to be considered the 'lean' way.

If I was an artist considering this, I would want to see a video of the reviewing artist as they listened to my song. I would want to see their facial expression, and see that the reviewer seems like they know what they are talking about. A

Sounds logical. If it fails, hopefully the reason for failure is not the logo, or an accumulation of things done quickly and cheaply.

The point about visual aesthetics may be true, but that's only a part of what a graphic designer does: a good graphic designer will solve communication problems, and that is definitely a business problem worth solving well.
